Dr. Clifford Brooks III was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. He studied at Indiana University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with highest honors in 2002. He then attended Indiana University School of Medicine on full scholarship from the U.S. Military’s Health Professions Scholarship Program, graduating in 2006. He went on to complete a transitional year of internship followed by Ophthalmology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center where he served as chief resident. Dr Brooks served 2 tours of duty in the United States Air Force – first at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, and then at Eglin AFB near Destin, Florida. He is delighted to return home and join Conner Smith Eye center in Seymour. He is blessed with a lovely wife, Jennifer, and two beautiful daughters, Ali and Emma and a handsome son, Drew.
