Dr. Riley Jane (Wischmeier) Wilson recently joined our practice and will provide primary eye care to her patients. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in Biology in 2018. She then attended Indiana School of Optometry and recently received a Doctorate of Optometry on May 5, 2023. During optometry school, she completed clinical rotations at MyEyeDr in the Indianapolis area, John Kenyon Eye Center in New Albany and Jeffersonville, Indianapolis Eye Care Center, and Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Wilson was born and raised here in Jackson County. She and her husband, Jake, are both graduates of Brownstown Central High School. They have two fun- loving Bernese mountain dogs, Billie and Mabel. They are both members of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Wegan. Outside of the clinic, you'll catch Dr. Wilson cheering on her sister at BCHS athletic events, spending time with her family and friends, or reading a good book.

Dr. Wilson is excited to return home and begin providing quality eye care to the community that she loves so much!
